The fear of failure

Face it, you are going to have failures.  It's simply a fact of life.  The best of the best fail.

Michael Jordan is arguably the best basketball player to ever play the game. He's been quoted saying "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed"
Over 9000 missed shots, 9000 "failures", and yet one of the best ever!

Babe Ruth is one of greatest baseball players ever with 714 home runs yet he struck out 1330 times! 1330 "failures" and he's a legend!

I could go on but I think you get the point. Failure will happen. But remember, failure doesn't happen to you, it happens for you. So if it's inevitable you may as well use it your advantage. Learn from it, use it as a source of motivation. Jordan attributes his success to his failures!

Those who achieve their dreams encounter many failures along the way. What defines them is how they respond to that failure.

It's important to keep a positive attitude, don't get discouraged. Stand by what you believe in, remain persistent, and keep moving forward!

Lastly, I want to encourage you to set goals. I recently did for the first time in my life and it really does help keep me focused on motivated. I heard a quote recently "If you aim at nothing you'll hit it every time"

So aim high…there are great things in store!!
