I. Tellers
II. Sellers
III. Hunters
IV. Partners
I am sure many of us have played the Teller role. Where we just spew out everything we know about efusjon, and even more so, we don't ask questions, or even listen. We are just so excited to tell them everything about it, and then we wonder why they never join or why they avoid our calls. Sound familiar?
Then we move to the Seller role, where we try to push them into the opportunity by maybe speaking less and asking a couple questions, in which we feel we are making progress ourselves, but then we ask for the sale like a used car salesperson. We put pressure on them to give us answer and maybe we push too soon. After our one sided presentation, we say "ok sign on the dotted line". Well, people don't like to be sold, and again, we are only focused on ourselves, not them, so they avoid us.
After that, we are frustrated, so we move on to the Hunter role, where we figure we will just go out there and hunt them down, pin them down, and they will have to sign, because they are just crazy if they don't? We convince ourselves that it is up to us to make them do something, and yet we even expect them to stay engaged and perform, which is exactly the opposite of what happens. They have no accountability or desire to even entertain the idea, because their belief system isn't at our level.
As efusjon associates, our ultimate role falls under the Partner Stage. I say that because it involves seeing yourself owning the account (Intent), the product, or the person you want to help. Your (Focus) is on the customer and the competition of our product, which we know the competition is a market of unhealthy energy drinks, which don't hold a candle to what we represent. Our (Relationship) is long-term, in helping others and ourselves; it isn't going to happen overnight! We need to stay the course by surrounding ourselves with those we want to have in our community long term. Lastly, our overall (Value) is to share a strategic direction in helping others with what efusjon truly represents!
