Microsoft just purchased 1.6% of Facebook. Why? Because, of a new application that will be launched this July on the social network platform, Facebook. The creator of the application is the current Senior VP of Paramount Studios, Derek Broes. Microsoft allocated roughly 400 of their Software Engineers to support Derek and his team of 800 Engineers for the development of the application. Derek's resume includes Kazaa, Microsoft, Skype and presently SVP Paramount. His patented technology is designed to drive a concept called "Viral Marketing" through Social Networking. Facebook is the largest social network on the planet with a user network of over 200 Million people. Most of us are already on facebook and know how powerful it is. It grows by almost a Million people EVERY DAY!!!
