First don't just start selling them on the opportunity. Talk about it in a way that you are watching all of these people making money (lots of money). Tell them why "YOU" are doing it. Tell them that I (derek broes) would never put my reputation on the line if this wasn't real. Have them google my name. It will be your excitement that will get them to listen. In other words, just tell them what you are doing and don't ask them to join. They will ask you if you if you are excited enough.
